Dear Life Noters,

How have you been? It’s been a little while since our last update. I hope you’ve been taking good care of yourself.

If the world feels too fast and noisy, remember you can turn down what doesn’t serve you—and make a little room for joy, slowness, and self-reflection.

If you need a place to share what's on your mind or to discuss journaling, mindfulness, or the journey of individuation, our Discord is recently getting more active. Shout out to Ron, LiSauce, NonChalance, and many others! 

Also, many of you asked for a guide to make the most of Life Note, and here it is! It covers the core features and the philosophy behind the design choices. 


Dark Mode, Web Redesigned, and More

Alright, let's dig into the recent updates that came to Life Note! 

1) Mobile Dark Mode: Now you can reflect in the evening or in bed without hurting your eyes. And yes—the new dark theme is beautiful to look at.

2) Web Homepage Redesign: The previous web design hid many useful features that only long-time users knew how to find, which left newer visitors feeling lost. With the new redesign, you can now easily access all the essential tools for your journaling and reflection. If you are a mobile user and haven't tried the web, you definitely should! 

3) Share Your Wisdom In Style: There are now many more styles to share your Wisdom with the latest updates. The Wisdom Collection on your homepage also has an improved display that lets you shuffle through your Wisdom at random.

4) Web: Chat With Multiple Mentors: The web chat interface now supports multiple tabs, making it easier than ever to get different perspectives by chatting with multiple mentors.

5) Better Journal References: No more ugly 📝 Past Entry button. Past journal references now have their own dedicated section, along with clean, non-distracting inline citations.

6) Inner Wisdom Upgrade: Inner Wisdom chat now supports highlighting, and you can select Inner Wisdom as your mentor for your journal. Inner Wisdom is a powerful way to chat with all your past journal entries. It speaks to you as a wiser version of yourself by analyzing your past entries and responding to your current journal.


Life Note Community News

One Life Note member shared that, after seven years of intractable agoraphobia, she stepped outside again—and has since gone to two concerts. Another wrote that he lived his values for six consecutive days—his first time doing so in six months of practicing ACT’s “living my values.”

Most of us are engaged—whether we name it or not—in the long work of becoming whole. And when one person speaks honestly of what was once hidden, it really gives the rest of us permission and power to do the same, so I thought I'd share the stories with the whole community.

深色模式、網頁改版,以及更多

好,來介紹這次 Life Note 的二月更新!

1) 手機深色模式

現在你可以在晚上、甚至躺在床上反思,不用再被白光刺眼。是的,新的深色主題真的很好看。

2) 網頁首頁重新設計

過去的網頁設計把很多好用功能藏得太深,只有老用戶才知道去哪找,新來的朋友常常會覺得迷路。這次改版後,你可以更直覺地找到所有日記與反思需要的核心工具。如果你平常只用手機、還沒試過網頁版,你應該試試。

3) 更有風格地分享你的智慧

這次更新新增了更多「智慧分享」樣式。你首頁的 智慧收藏 也更好看、更好翻閱,偶爾讓你被自己的智慧驚喜到吧。

4) 網頁版:可同時跟多位導師聊天

網頁聊天介面現在支援多分頁(tabs)。想同一個問題問不同導師、拿不同視角,比以前方便多囉。

5) 更好的過往日記引用

再見了醜醜的 📝 過去日記 按鈕。現在過往日記引用有自己專屬的區塊,並搭配乾淨、不干擾閱讀的行內引用標示,記得升級到最新版喔。

6) 內在智慧升級

內在智慧聊天現在支援重點智慧收藏。你也可以在寫日記時直接選內在智慧當回應導師。「內在智慧」會翻閱你所有過去的日記,把你當成「更成熟、更清醒的自己」來回應你—它會分析你的過去脈絡,並對你當下的日記做出貼近、具體的回應。


Life Note 社群故事

一位 Life Note 用戶分享:在與嚴重廣場恐懼症纏鬥了七年後,她終於再次踏出家門,並已經去看了兩場演唱會。另一位成員則寫道:他連續 6 天都做到了「活出自己的價值」,這是他練習 ACT(接納與承諾治療)中的「living my values」六個月以來第一次達成。

我們都在走一條「成為更完整的自己」的道路。而當有人願意把在黑暗中的東西攤在陽光下分享出來,它會給我們其他人一種力量:原來不只我有黑暗面,我也可以更坦然吧?所以我想把這些故事分享給大家。
